You’ll have the option of supplementing your piano studies with instruction/experimentation on the ukulele, guitar, electric bass, drum set, world percussion, voice, or any instrument you own. You will learn music theory and have opportunities to improvise and compose!
Learn to sing beautifully, in the musical style of your choice, using healthy technique. Become a well-rounded musician by studying the theory and historical context of the music you’re singing. If you’d like to learn to sing while playing an instrument, or if you’d like to work on writing your own songs as well, we will structure the lessons exactly to your interests!
Musical Theatre Audition Coaching
Avoid the common audition pitfalls and set yourself up for success by receiving guidance through the entire audition process, including selecting an appropriate audition cut, thoroughly preparing your materials (including rehearsing with an accompanist), and performing like a professional from the moment you walk in the door.
voice lessons for transgender singers
We understand the dysphoria and frustration many non-binary and transgender people experience due to their voices. We specialize in helping students find your voice, no matter where you are in the process. While Gingerbread Music is in Atlanta, we do offer online voice lessons to students who do not have local access to trans*-friendly instructors.

We offer theory lessons and tutoring for beginning through advanced students, as well as introductory instruction for budding songwriters and project-specific consultation for composers and arrangers. Creatively stuck on a project? We’ll provide friendly and constructive feedback and guidance to help you realize your vision.
Live Sound Design & Studio Recording
Gain the skills to help you edit and produce sound like a pro. We offer training on how to use a digital or analog soundboard for live audio mixing, as well as best practices for adjusting EQ, compression, effects, and more. Learn how to use DAWs such as Garage Band or Logic Pro X for making beats, recording, and audio mixing in the studio.

Music Direction
Project Spotlight: Gamble music directed one of the new musicals selected for the 2019 Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival, Closing Doors (Music: Ali Ramsaier, Book: Quinn Hernandez). They brought the music to life with a 25-member cast and led a 5-piece rock band from the keyboard, shaping the live performance as well as creating the orchestrations.
