“I have had the pleasure of experiencing Gamble's music direction in two different productions, as well as one-on-one audition coaching (I booked the gig, by the way!) They have this magical way of removing the stress and pressure from learning a score. They're very honest, straightforward, and are totally accessible for questions/clarifications. They also are a spooky, magical wizard and can whip up some professional audio practice files that will help you ace your part. Plus, with spooky, magical-wizardy, color-changing hair like that, what's not to love?”

“Gamble is an unforgettable teacher. They helped me cultivate a love for music in a very important and formative time in my life and taught me (and all of their students) how to share and create music in a safe, healing environment. I would look forward to choir all day, and at a rough period in my youth, the idea of missing choir actually kept me in school. They were such an amazing role model for me and taught me the importance of respecting and loving all people. These valuable lessons equipped me to handle the rest of high school as well as all the trouble I would come to face.
“That’s why I was so thrilled when Gamble agreed to coach me for an audition for a local theatre group! They helped me cut my music and made custom audition tracks which were specifically tailored to the key and tempo I preferred. They took great care in listening to how I performed the song first, then matched the volume, speed, and breaths I took in order to create the accompaniment I needed. They also helped me make very important adjustments in my vocal technique, and really brought my audition to life! I aced the audition and got cast, and it’s all because of them!
“I will never forget how Gamble helped me, and I will be forever grateful for the safe and loving environment in their choir room, where all students could discover themselves through music. Gamble, I was so fortunate to have you as a teacher. You are such an inspiration to me.”

“My son initially had the pleasure of working with Gamble, the music director, in two different programs in which he was involved. After those positive experiences, when he was in need of a vocal coach, there was no hesitation in contacting Gamble. That’s who he wanted. Gamble’s experience teaching kids, knowledge of musical theater, together with their mastery on the keys and various digital music tech programs all come together for great audition prep and the needed audition cuts/tracks. I’ve seen greater confidence when he walks into an audition after his coaching sessions with Gamble. They bring out his best. Besides helping him prep, Gamble is a 10/10 on his cool scale! So great!”

“Gamble worked with me for several years as a musical director for high school productions. I can safely say that they’re one of the most gifted choral and music directors I've ever worked with or been around. The students responded to them incredibly well, always wanting to work hard for them. The students grew under Gamble’s tutelage beyond their expectations, and our shows always sounded great. Honestly, I was never able to figure out exactly what they do to make them sound so good, but they need to keep on doing it!”

“I have had the privilege of working with Gamble in multiple capacities, including sound technician for our production of The Wedding Singer and track creator for several of my vocal auditions around the Greater Metropolitan Atlanta area. They are dedicated to their craft and a true and reliable resource for last-minute emergencies. They also have one of the most welcoming and compassionate personalities, which is very refreshing in this industry. Consequently, their choice in vibrant hair color is a constant inspiration to all of us.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Gamble for several years. Gamble has been a great asset to my music making. Gamble is apt at making arrangements that are singable, fun to learn, and interesting to the listener. Their work is prompt and polished. Gamble is a wonderful keyboardist/percussionist/singer/music director and is able to switch between all of those in a moment’s notice. The work Gamble has done for me and with me has been excellent. I highly recommend Gamble for your arranging, performance, and educational needs. Best of luck on this new adventure, Gamble!!!”

“I can’t speak highly enough of Gamble’s talent- specifically for being able to make a group of kids who’d likely be “in the shower/car singers” sound harmonious. A lot of kids that Gamble has taught are reluctantly participating in a choral event, and yet Gamble finds a way to put them together to sound like they were born with talent. They wind up enjoying the process, too! That, in and of itself, is a difficult skill set to find: a person who can convince middle-school kids (who already think they are too cool) to participate joyfully in something they did not want to do in the first place. Further, they are patient and flexible in working with the kids (and the parents!), and you can see that Gamble loves their work. They have an incredible ear and gently push the students to a place of excellence and work tirelessly to get them there. And yes, Gamble inspires them to be comfortable in their own skin/body/hair/gender identity. They are incredibly patient with the adults while we practice using the correct pronouns, too! Gamble has life experience beyond their years and excels in helping others, and not just musically.”

“Gamble and I were part of the music team in our school, including the choral, band, strings and general music teachers. I served as the accompanist for the groups Gamble directed, and they accompanied our elementary school groups on several occasions. They were also the director of the pit orchestra and chorus for the High School musical where I served as piano accompanist.
“Gamble assimilated quickly into the school community upon arrival, connecting with our faculty and students in a positive and energetic manner. Their enthusiasm for the job and our community made them an immediate asset to our school. Gamble has been, by far, the most competent musical theater director for whom I have played keyboard in my 31 years at our school. They were organized in rehearsals, prepared, and efficient. Gamble’s innate musicality made it easy to follow them as an accompanist and pit band member. Gamble was kind, thoughtful, and capable of bringing out the best in our students.”

“I’m really enjoying my lessons with Gamble and highly recommend hiring Gingerbread Music for your music needs! It’s really intimidating to try to learn a new skill as an adult, but Gamble always makes me feel at ease. Our lessons are very fun and specifically tailored to my goals and interests as an artist. I also really appreciate the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere of their home studio, including the cute doggie and kitties that greet you at the door. It’s clear to me that Gamble possesses the necessary musical knowledge, skill, and talent while also being a truly exceptional teacher. That’s a rare combo, so don’t wait to start learning from Gamble!”
